Glove Ports
Silicone Iris Glove Ports
Iris ports are ideal for applications where an inert atmosphere is not required.
Marine & Industrial Plastics manufacture silicone iris ports using FDA 177.2600 & EC 1935/2004.40 compliant silicone and FDA approved HDPE.
The iris itself consists of four overlaying off set layers of silicone. The aim of the iris is to allow for self-closing access to a glove box or cabinet minimising the air exchange when not in use.
We can supply silicone irises to fit all of our standard ports or bespoke ones to fit alternate assemblies.
